If you think about it, watch movements are pretty amazing. A thimble full of precision parts put together in just the right way can connect us with the concept of time. We treasure our watch. If we forget it, we go back for it. If we lose it, we feel lost. We depend on them to keep our schedule and mark the important moments in a life. As I dismantle these movements, I wonder about the people who may have lived their lives by its time. These aren't just gears, screws, metal and jewels: they meant something to somebody.

Steampunk Explosion Art^© is designed and created here at Beyond Blessed. I use vintage and antique watch movement parts and resin to create an artful wearable display of precision parts.
