Fossil Walrus IvoryFossil walrus ivory is unearthed on beaches and in ancient villages on private lands by native Alaskan people. It is guaranteed to be between 600 and 6000 years old. This ivory came from a village that has been uninhabited for 600 years. Soil nutrients and sea water leach into the ivory, leaving a wonderful patina of earthy colors. While some of this ivory has been cut, polished and drilled, it will forever be a unique work of nature.
